Taxonomic and mutational analysis of cyanobacteria and heterotrophic communities through metagenomes following phage infection.

This study utilizes metagenomes to investigate the taxonomic composition and genetic dynamics of cyanobacteria and their co-isolated heterotrophic communities, with a focus on changes induced across sequential phage infections. The findings will provide insights into how interactions with heterotrophic bacteria influence recovery of cyanobacteria following phage infection, as well as how the diversity and abundance of the heterotrophic community responds to these changes.
