This is the reference closed genome for the first cultivated CPR group Nanosynbacter Lyticus Type_Strain_TM7x (HMT/HOT_952 ) from the Saccharibacteria from 2014 deposition and publication https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.1419038112. These locus tags are used throughout publications. The candidate division TM7 ( now referred to as Candidatus Saccharibacteria) is a distinct bacterial lineage of the Candidate Phyla Radiation (CPR) found in diverse environmental habitats as well as various human body sites, where TM7 phylotypes often present an association with inflammatory mucosal diseases. Despite the many different TM7 phylotypes identified through 16S rRNA gene sequencing, none have yet been cultured and maintained in vitro previous to this work. A closed Pacbio sequence with base modification file was deposited recently that is a direct re-sequencing effort on this original culture.
