Maine Voting Districts 2021 County Commissioners

The Maine Constitution requires the Maine Legislature to reapportion voting districts every ten years, using the most recent United States Census data. County Commissioners are elected officials, responsible for maintaining operations and making policy decisions that affect their county government. Maine's sixteen counties each elect three, five, or seven commissioners, as appropriate to represent the entire county, to serve four-year terms. This feature layer delineates the boundaries of these commissioner districts within each county in Maine, and is the authoritative GIS data layer representing the extent of each district.
