Rain drop size distribution (DSD) measurement dataset for different sites in Norway and in Greenland, 2016-2025

This dataset contains the measurement data from two disdrometers of type Parsivel2 (Ott GmbH) that were operated by the Geophysical institute, University of Bergen, Norway in the time period August 2016 to August 2025. The measurement dataset has been prepared for upload to the DISDRODB disdrometer database. Throughout the majority of the measurement period from 08 August 2016 to 13 August 2025, the disdrometer was installed at the rooftop measurement platform of the Geophysical institute, University of Bergen, Norway (60.3837ºN, 5.3319ºE, 45 m a.s.l.). During the time period covered by the entire dataset, two identical instruments with different serial numbers were used. Before 08 May 2020, a Parsivel2 disdrometer with serial number 369157 was used. After 08 May 2020, a Parsivel2 disdrometer with serial number 450790 was used. The archived data files at site Bergen-Florida is contains two files, one per instrument used at the site. For several field measurement campaigns, the disdrometer was taken to other locations for a limited time period. These field installation periods were: EastGRIP, Greenland (18.05.2017 to 12.08.2017, 75ºN, 20ºW, 2708 m a.s.l.) Finse, Norway (12.03.2020 to 08.05.2020, 60.593536ºN, 7.524266ºE, 1222 m a.s.l.) Oksebasen, Andøya, Norway (16.03.2021 to 30.03.2021, 69.2954ºN, 16.0337ºE, 20m a.s.l.) Andenes, Andøya, Norway (17.03.2022 to 07.04.2022, 69.2986ºN, 16.0480ºE, 9m a.s.l.) Separate files are provided for each deployment site.本数据集包含两台Parsivel2型（Ott GmbH公司生产）雨滴谱仪（disdrometer）的观测数据，由挪威卑尔根大学地球物理研究所于2016年8月至2025年8月期间布设运行。本观测数据集已完成整理，拟上传至DISDRODB雨滴谱仪数据库。 在2016年8月8日至2025年8月13日的绝大部分观测周期内，该雨滴谱仪均布设于挪威卑尔根大学地球物理研究所楼顶观测平台，坐标为北纬60.3837°、东经5.3319°，海拔45米。 在本数据集覆盖的全部时段内，共使用两台序列号不同的同款仪器。2020年5月8日前，使用序列号为369157的Parsivel2雨滴谱仪；2020年5月8日后，更换为序列号为450790的Parsivel2雨滴谱仪。卑尔根-佛罗里达站点的存档数据文件包含两个文件，分别对应该站点使用的每台仪器。 在多次野外观测任务中，该雨滴谱仪曾被临时转移至其他地点开展短期观测，具体野外布设时段如下： 1. 格陵兰EastGRIP站点：2017年5月18日至2017年8月12日，坐标北纬75°、西经20°，海拔2708米 2. 挪威Finse站点：2020年3月12日至2020年5月8日，坐标北纬60.593536°、东经7.524266°，海拔1222米 3. 挪威安岛Oksebasen站点：2021年3月16日至2021年3月30日，坐标北纬69.2954°、东经16.0337°，海拔20米 4. 挪威安岛Andenes站点：2022年3月17日至2022年4月7日，坐标北纬69.2986°、东经16.0480°，海拔9米 每个布设站点均对应独立的数据文件。
