资源简介:
Abstract: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common cancer types among males and females. CRC treatment is multimodal and includes surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy the case of rectal cancers. Early diagnosis of CRC can lead to treatment at an earlier stage and improved prognosis. Identification of novel, non-invasive, specific, and sensitive biomarkers for CRC may assist in improving the diagnosis and treatment of CRC. Exosomes has been identified to have an essential role in tumorigenesis, which can play a particular role in tumor progression. Some unique sequences of miRNAs are favorably packaged into exosomes, and it has illustrated that particular miRNAs can be directed to specific cells. Exosomal miRNAs have been recognized in regulating the expression of tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes. The functional role of exosomal miRNAs has also been demonstrated in carcinogenesis and CRC development, which makes miRNAs strong biomarkers for CRC. The approach of deep sequencing can provide a robust informatic analysis related to the sorts and excess of exosomal miRNAs. Thus, exosomal miRNAs can be efficiently examined as diagnostic biomarkers for screening the disease.
