Energy Supply and Demand Database for 14 Pacific Island Countries

Energy demand and supply datasets of countries are critical in analysing the energy transition roadmap to mitigate global temperature rise. To address the prevailing data scarcity, we developed a dataset for 14 Pacific island countries that includes their existing electricity generation capacity, load projections for power, heat, and transportation sectors, and onshore and offshore renewable energy potential. We verified our dataset from individual reports and energy statistics from the United Nations and the International Energy Agency to maintain consistency and robustness.各国能源供需数据集是开展减缓全球温升的能源转型路线图分析的关键基础。为解决当前普遍存在的数据匮乏问题，我们构建了涵盖14个太平洋岛国的数据集，其中包含各国现有发电装机容量、电力、热力及交通领域的负荷预测值，以及陆上与海上可再生能源开发潜力。我们通过联合国（United Nations）与国际能源署（International Energy Agency）的专项报告及能源统计数据对本数据集进行了核验，以确保其一致性与鲁棒性。
