Porewater geochemistry of sediment core M186_48-1@en

The main goal of RV Meteor expedition M186 was to investigate fluid dynamics on the Azores Plateau, Central North Atlantic Ocean. The work is systematic continuation of multiple expeditions (e.g. M113, M141/1 and M162) in the region in the last decade. The first results of M186 confirm a diverse picture of fluid chemistry that was already known from previous cruises. Fluids dynamics and systematics are diverse here, shown by different trends in major elemental composition in short distance.科考船“流星号”（RV Meteor）航次M186的核心研究目标，是对北大西洋中部亚速尔高原海域开展流体动力学研究。本项工作是近十年间该海域多批次科考航次（如M113、M141/1及M162）的系统性延续。M186航次的初步研究结果证实了流体化学的多样性特征，该特征已在既往科考航次中被观测到。此处的流体动力学与系统学特征呈现出显著多样性，短距离范围内主量元素组成的差异化变化趋势即为有力佐证。
