Supplemental material for manuscript "Perspectives on Popular Music Voice Teaching: A Systematic Mapping Review of Recent Literature"

This dataset consists of the supplemental material for the systematic mapping review manuscript called Perspectives on Popular Music Voice Teaching: A Systematic Mapping Review of Recent Literature, to be published in Journal of Popular Music Education in 2024. 

Appendix 1 provides a detailed description of the mapping process.

Appendix 2 comprises of eight tables (4.1-4.8) mapping scholarly and educational literature on popular music voice teaching published in English, Finnish, and Swedish between 2014 and 2020. The literature is divided into seven key areas, represented by seven tables (4.2-4.8). The tables are further divided into topics and subtopics and include the name(s) of author(s), year of publication, country of affiliation or residence, as well as type of publication and disposition.

Appendix 3 displays the 177 references reviewed in the mapping (Appendix 2).
