Paper and board production in Europe 2023, by CEPI country

Germany produced approximately 18.6 million metric tons of paper and board in 2023, making it the largest paper and board producer in Europe that year. Italy and Sweden were the second-largest producers of paper and board in the region, each with an output of roughly 7.5 million metric tons.
