Candidates for presidential elections in the Republic of Estonia, participation in voting and election results

The dataset is part of the consolidated dataset "Candidates for elections held in the Republic of Estonia, voting and election results and results of referendums." Presidential elections are held every five years (except 1992 > 1996). If the President is not elected in the Riigikogu by up to three ballots, the President shall be elected by the electoral body. In this case, the dataset shall also contain the data of the electoral body. The 1992 presidential elections were held differently from the following elections as a direct election, which is why its data differ from that of the following elections. The data set concerning elections to the Riigikogu or electoral body shall set out, by ballot, the number of members of the Riigikogu or electoral body who received and participated in the voting, the number of invalid and unmarked ballot papers and the name of the candidate or the names of the candidates. There are also aggregated data on the number of votes received by the candidates elected and the percentage of those who took part in the vote.本数据集隶属于整合数据集「爱沙尼亚共和国选举候选人、投票与选举结果及全民公投结果」。总统选举每五年举行一次（1992年至1996年除外）。若未能在爱沙尼亚共和国议会（Riigikogu）经至多三轮投票选出总统，则由选举团选举产生总统。此种情形下，本数据集亦需包含选举团相关数据。 1992年总统选举采用直选方式，与后续选举形式不同，因此其数据与后续选举的数据存在差异。针对共和国议会或选举团选举的数据集，需按投票轮次列明：参与投票的议会或选举团成员人数、无效选票与未标记选票数量，以及各候选人的姓名与所得票数。此外，数据集还包含当选候选人所得票数及投票参与率的汇总数据。
