Hyannis to Nantucket Harbor electric supply cable (National Grid Nantucket Cable No. 2), Nantucket Sound, Massachusetts, 2005

These GIS data show the location of the location of an electric supply cable from Hyannis, Cape Cod to Nantucket Harbor on Nantucket Island in Nantucket Sound, Massachusetts. It is the western portion (National Grid Nantucket Electric Cable No. 2) of what are two 46kV cable lines routed from Cape Cod to Nantucket, Massachusetts installed by National Grid. The line feature was created using hardcopy geographic coordinates provided by National Grid in the form of the drawing "Nantucket Cable Project Submarine Cable Hyannis to Nantucket Marine Route Plan" dated February 2005. A marine survey was performed by Ocean Surveys Inc. on June 26 to July 4th and August 10 to August 12, 1994 to represent conditions.
