Mean EEG feature values significantly correlated with AD CSF biomarkers

This dataset contains raw, patient-level mean EEG feature values recorded during sleep from individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease (AD). EEG features were extracted from four electrodes (C3–A2, C4–A1, F4–A1, O2–A1) across four sleep stages (N1, N2, N3, and REM) using 2-minute signal windows with 25% overlap. For each patient, feature values were averaged across windows. Only EEG features showing significant correlations with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers were retained. The considered CSF biomarkers are total tau (t-tau), phosphorylated tau (p-tau), and beta-amyloid (Aβ).

本数据集收录了确诊阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimer’s disease, AD)患者睡眠期间采集的原始个体水平平均脑电(electroencephalogram, EEG)特征值。研究人员采用时长2分钟、重叠率25%的信号窗口,从C3–A2、C4–A1、F4–A1、O2–A1共4个电极采集的信号中,针对N1、N2、N3及快速眼动睡眠(rapid eye movement, REM)4个睡眠阶段提取脑电特征;每位患者的特征值由对应信号窗口的特征平均得到。 仅保留与脑脊液(cerebrospinal fluid, CSF)阿尔茨海默病生物标志物存在显著相关性的脑电特征。本次研究所纳入的脑脊液生物标志物包括总tau蛋白(total tau, t-tau)、磷酸化tau蛋白(phosphorylated tau, p-tau)及β淀粉样蛋白(beta-amyloid, Aβ)。
