Moreton Bay, July 2004, HPLC Pigment and Ocean Colour Data

This record contains data generated from samples collected in Moreton Bay between 27 July and 02 August 2004. The data can be used for Ocean Colour sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments and retrieved chlorophyll a estimate, the absorption coefficient for dissolved (CDOM) particulate (a/p) and detrital or non-algal (a/d) components of the water column. 19 stations were sampled. The data was used primarily to validate ocean colour sensors MERIS, MODIS and SeaWIFs and the SST sensor AATSR. Samples were collected and analysed for     pigments, total suspended solids (TSS) and absorption coefficient, dissolved and particulate. CLW deployed instruments RAMSES, AC-9, Hydroscat and Hydrorad.

本数据集包含2004年7月27日至8月2日在莫顿湾（Moreton Bay）采集的样本所生成的数据，可用于海洋水色传感器（Ocean Colour sensor）的验证工作。本次测量的参数包括叶绿素与类胡萝卜素色素浓度、反演得到的叶绿素a估算值，以及水体中溶解性有色溶解有机物（CDOM）、颗粒态组分（a/p）与碎屑/非藻类组分（a/d）的吸收系数。本次共布设19个采样站位。该数据主要用于验证海洋水色传感器MERIS、MODIS及SeaWiFS，以及海表面温度（SST）传感器AATSR。采样分析工作涵盖色素、总悬浮颗粒物（TSS, total suspended solids）以及溶解性与颗粒态吸收系数。CLW部署了RAMSES、AC-9、Hydroscat及Hydrorad等观测仪器。
