Sanctions pronounced by the CNIL

The CNIL may [sanction](https://www.cnil.fr/en/les-missions) a data controller who has not taken the necessary measures to comply with the Data Protection Act and, from 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The datasets presented concern the number of sanctions, pronounced by the restricted formation of the CNIL, notified each year since 2014 (and their breakdown by type of decision, which has evolved hence the publication of data with the new typology of sanctions as of 2019).

法国国家信息与自由委员会（Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, CNIL）可对未采取必要措施以遵守《数据保护法》（Data Protection Act）及自2018年5月25日起施行的《通用数据保护条例》（General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR）的数据控制者处以处罚。

本次展示的数据集涵盖2014年以来每年由CNIL专门审理机构作出并公布的处罚数量，同时包含处罚决定类型的分类统计——由于处罚类型体系有所演进，自2019年起，数据集将采用新的处罚分类标准进行发布。
