Gut Microbiota-Butyrate-PPAR? Axis Modulates Adipose Regulatory T Cell Population

Immune cells in visceral adipose tissue are critical for regulating metabolic homeostasis. In addition, gut microbiota is an important regulator of the immune system. We used single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the relationship between gut microbiota and immune cells in visceral adipose tissue. Overall design: Visceral adipose tissue CD45+ cells of 15-week-old mice with normal water or antibiotic treatment were sorted using Magnetic-activated cell sorting (MACS) separation according to the manufacturer's protocol (CD45 MicroBeads, Miltenyi Biotec) and analyzed using single-cell RNA sequencing.
