Iron and steel industry CO2 emissions Japan 2013-2022

In 2022, the carbon dioxide emissions from the iron and steel industry in Japan amounted to around 114.4 million tons of CO2, the second lowest number of the past decade. The ten-year low-point was reached in the previous year of 2020 at approximately 111.6 million tons.Crude steel production likewise went through a congruent development.
