DELIVERY OF BEST PERFORMING ULVA SPP. STRAINS TO ALGAPLUS FOR TESTING AT THEIR FARM

Report on the analysis of approximately 50 input strains following genotyping (Sanger) and phenotyping for growth, morphological (SLA) and biochemical characteristics (Ulvans, sugars, protein, Amino acids) was made. From the screening, the three best performing Ulva spp. strains were identified, cryo-banked and delivered to ALGP to be tested on their farm.本报告针对约50株供试菌株开展了分析研究：采用桑格测序法（Sanger）进行基因分型，并针对生长性能、形态学指标（SLA）以及生化特性（涵盖海藻多糖（Ulvans）、糖类、蛋白质与氨基酸）开展表型鉴定。经筛选后，研究团队鉴定出3株综合性能最优的石莼属（Ulva spp.）菌株，将其进行低温冷冻保藏后交付至ALGP，用于该机构的养殖现场测试。
