Single-nucleus transcriptomic analysis reveals the regulatory circuitry of myofiber XBP1 during regenerative myogenesis

The goal of the study was to identify the mechanistic role of myofiber XBP1 in the regulation of adult skeletal muscle regeneration. Single-nucleus RNA sequencing was performed to study the effect of targeted deletion of XBP1 on the transcriptome of different cell types in the muscle microenvironment at 5 days after injury.
