Burnout among Ukrainian academic staff during wartime

This dataset and accompanying manuscript present the findings of a cross-sectional study examining burnout levels among Ukrainian academic staff during the full-scale war. Data were collected via an online survey from December 2023 to February 2024 and include responses from 429 academic staff members across displaced and non-displaced Ukrainian universities. Burnout was measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS), and institutional support was assessed via custom indicators. This research contributes to the understanding of academic resilience in war-affected contexts and highlights the need for culturally responsive and credible institutional support mechanisms.
