Trichoderma deliquescens is a filamentous fungus, and Aureobasidium sp. is a yeast-like fungus, both isolated from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) contaminated sediment and verified for PAH degrading ability. Here we report the genome sequences of these two species. The genomes were sequenced using Nanopore technologies and assembled using Flye. Genomes consisted of 35.7 Mbp for T. deliquescens and 27.5 Mbp for Aureobasidium sp. This project aimed to explore whether morphological and metabolic differences between these fungi are reflected at the genomic level, particularly in the composition of genes associated with PAH degradation pathways.
