Barro Colorado Island, AVA tower.Mean vector, wind direction Established in Mar, 2011 as part of the ForestGEO Tropical Ecology, Assessment and Monitoring (TEAM) project. The original tower was Located near the center of the island at the north west corner of the 50ha plot (9.1568°, -79.8486°). In 2018 this tower was struck by a tree fall and rendered unusable. In Feb. 2019 a new 45m tower was build close by (9.1568°, -79.8486°).

本数据集为巴罗科罗拉多岛（Barro Colorado Island）AVA气象塔的风向均值向量数据，于2011年3月建立，作为森林地理观测（ForestGEO）热带生态评估与监测（TEAM）计划的组成部分。初代观测塔坐落于该岛中部、50公顷样地的西北角，地理坐标为北纬9.1568°、西经79.8486°。2018年，该塔被倒伏树木撞击后无法继续使用。2019年2月，科研人员在原址附近新建了一座高45米的新观测塔，其地理坐标与初代塔一致，为北纬9.1568°、西经79.8486°。
