Element quotas of individual Synechococcus cells collected during Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study (BATS) cruises aboard the R/V Atlantic Explorer between dates 2012-07-11 and 2013-10-13 (Si_in_Syn project)

<p>Field work at the Bermuda Atlantic Time Series (BATS) site was done to assess the contribution of Synechococcus and diatoms to total biogenic silica in surface waters. The data include information about the elemental content (Silicon, Phosphorus, and Sulfur) of Synechococcus cells as measured by synchrotron-based x-ray fluorescence (SBXF) microscopy.&nbsp; Derived mole ratios (Si:P, and Si:S) are also provided.</p>

<p>本研究于百慕大大西洋时间序列（Bermuda Atlantic Time Series, BATS）站位开展野外调查作业，旨在定量评估聚球藻（Synechococcus）与硅藻对表层水体总生源二氧化硅的贡献占比。数据集涵盖通过同步辐射X射线荧光（synchrotron-based x-ray fluorescence, SBXF）显微镜测得的聚球藻细胞元素含量（硅、磷、硫）相关信息，同时提供了衍生计算得到的摩尔比值（Si:P及Si:S）。</p>
