Building 95 also known as the Small Dairy Barn of the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum located at 901 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa is a Recognized Federal Heritage Building. It has both historic and architectural heritage value. Building 95 is closely associated with a government research project undertaken between 1910 and 1920. The aesthetically pleasing design of the barn is reminiscent of the “Wisconsin Barn” type of the mid-west United States popular at the end of the 19th century, the barn has a host of features that contribute to its heritage value and make it an interesting research project. Building 95 or informally known as Meadowview Barn is a small dairy farm located on 901 Prince of Wales Drive and a part of the Nepean Community. The Wisconsin style house is adjacent to the Agricultural Museum at the Central Experimental Farm National Historic Site of Canada in Ottawa. The building covers 2400 ft^2 and after many external and internal modifications, it has become a two-story rental space. Due to the fragile conditions of the building the function altered from a dairy farm to rental space for sheep shows and weddings. This is the Integrated Project Dossier compiled by a group of undergraduate students of the Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Program (Engineers and architects) at Carleton University for the CIVE3207 (ARCN4100) Historic Site Recording and Assessment course in 2019.
