Value of check fraud prevented in the UK H1 2013-2018

This statistic displays the value of check fraud that has been prevented in the United Kingdom (UK) from the 1st half of 2013 to 2018. The amount in fraud prevention has fluctuated year on year but has significantly fallen since the 1st half of 2015 onwards up until the second half of 2017. The highest amount in this time period of fraud prevention was in the 1st half of 2015, where the amount of approximately 262 million British pounds was prevented from being stolen through check fraud.
