Tropical Cyclone Issac Ocean Profiles from 28 August 2012.

A flight on NOAA''s WP-3D Orion aircraft was conducted during tropical cyclone Isaac on 28 August 2012 over the northeastern Gulf of Mexico (from approximately 24 to 29 N and 84 to 90 W), over the Loop Current (LC) and associated frontal eddies. Airborne expendable probes measured atmospheric and oceanic parameters.

2012年8月28日，在热带气旋艾萨克（Isaac）活动期间，研究团队搭乘美国国家海洋和大气管理局（NOAA）的WP-3D Orion型侦察机，于墨西哥湾东北部（大致位于北纬24°至29°、西经84°至90°海域）执行飞行观测任务，该观测区域覆盖环流产涡（Loop Current, LC）及其相关锋面涡旋。本次任务通过机载投弃式探测探头，采集了大气与海洋相关参数。
