The fecal microbiota of horses treated for colitis with fecal microbiota transplantation was studied. Ten control horses from a facility in Oregon where FMT is not used were included. Horses were sampled on 4-6 subsequent days of treatment. 16S amplicon sequencing of the V1V2 variable region was applied. The samples are part of a larger study.
