Monk at The British Museum, London

Not a lot is known about this fragment of a Monk praying from Pakistan but it is presumed it was created around the 2nd - 3rd century AD. This is just a bust of a monk, with the rest of the lower body missing; this may have been intentional though statues of such subject would usually depict the whole figure. This object is part of Scan The World.
