SMALL BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ITS ROLE IN REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

This article analyzes the role of small business and entrepreneurship in regional economic development using the example of Uzbekistan. The study examines the dynamics of small business economic growth across regions during the period 2021–2025, based on official statistical data. Particular attention is paid to the share of small business in gross domestic product and employment, as well as its importance in ensuring sustainable regional development. The research identifies key problems hindering the effective development of small business and entrepreneurship in the regions. Based on the analysis, practical and comprehensive recommendations are proposed to improve the efficiency of small business activities and maximize the benefits derived from their development.本文以乌兹别克斯坦为案例，探析小微企业与创业活动在区域经济发展中的作用。本研究基于官方统计数据，考察2021-2025年各区域小微企业经济增长的动态变化，重点关注小微企业在国内生产总值（Gross Domestic Product）与就业中的占比，以及其对保障区域可持续发展的重要意义。研究厘清了制约各区域小微企业与创业活动高效发展的核心瓶颈问题。基于上述分析，本文提出兼具实践性与系统性的优化建议，以提升小微企业经营效能，并最大化其发展所带来的综合收益。
