资源简介:
Bat white-nose syndrome (WNS) is a rapidly spreading wildlife disease in North America, resulting in disruption of hibernation behaviour, premature energy depletion, and subsequent death. We use whole-genome sequencing (Illumina HiSeq 4000 PE (2 x 150 bp)) to investigate changes in allele frequencies within a population of Myotis lucifugus in eastern North America to scan for genetic resistance to WNS. Sequencing libraries were made for two separate sets of data: (1) Six individuals from Pennsylvania, New York and Upper Peninsula, Michigan (2 per state) at ~7.5x coverage; (2) Equimolar pools of DNA from multiple individuals from New York and Pennsylvania at each of two timepoints (pre- and post-WNS) to give four pooled sequencing libraries at ~45x coverage each.
