To better understand processes affecting the ice sheets and to supply boundary condition information into ice sheet models and ice thickness for other ice sheet analysis, the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) has designed, developed, and deployed a near high frequency (33-37 MHz) radar depth sounder in Greenland. An uninhabited aerial vehicle (UAV), dubbed the G1XB, was modified to carry this HF sounder. This dataset contains data collected at Russell Glacier in Greenland to demonstrate the system.
