This dataset is tetrode recorded single units and LFP from dorsal CA1 of 5 rats are they explored a novel 48-m long linear track. A repeat exposure to the track is included as well as a second smaller open field environment and flanking sleep sessions. The data are reported in Rich, P. Dylan, Hua-Peng Liaw, and Albert K.
