The planks were relatively small -- lower specim(?) actual plank from big dog cave on San Clemente is [...]avateu by A. Woodward for LA Co. Museum 1940 now in LA Co. Museum. Wood is pine -- it was part of prow. Canoes were caulked with [...]ar and sewed with either deer sinew or wild hemp fiber cordage. Canoes 10 feet long [...] ones 25 to 30 feet".
