Projected uranium enrichment capacities in France 2012-2040

The uranium enrichment capacities were stable at 7,500 tons of separative work units (SWU) since 2015, after increasing by around 5,000 tons of SWU around 2012. The uranium enrichment capacities in France are not expected to change at least until 2040, although in 2022 France was planning to increase them up to 11,000 tons of SWU. On the contrary, uranium enrichment requirements are projected to decrease between 2025 and 2035, reaching a value of around 5,000 tons of SWU.
