经过对调查数据的分析，同时基于对历史数据和海图的对比，对中沙群岛大环礁的水深特征有以下5点发现：1）更新了中沙群岛大环礁的水深最浅点。2）发现了23个新增暗沙。3）更新了浅礁的最浅水深值、形态特征和走向。4）浅礁的走向以NE-SW走向为主。5）潟湖内浅礁的分布主要集中在中北部。
