It consolidates multiple state-of-the-art prediction strategies into a single, accessible platform — addressing the FAO/WHO 2003 recommendation to use a weight-of-evidence approach rather than any single test. The tool integrates methods based on: Support Vector Machine (SVM) using amino acid and dipeptide composition Motif-based prediction via MEME/MAST BLAST search against Allergen Representative Peptides (ARPs) IgE epitope similarity search Hybrid combinations of the above Key Features Dataset 578 allergens and 700 non-allergens for training/testing 323 allergens in the independent validation dataset 101,725 non-allergens from Swiss-Prot for false-positive evaluation 178 curated IgE epitopes (sourced from Bcipep and SDAP databases) 2,890 Allergen Representative Peptides (ARPs)
