Global buffaloes distribution in 2015 (5 minutes of arc)

This dataset contains the global distribution of buffaloes in 2015 expressed in total number of buffaloes per pixel (5 min of arc) according to the Gridded Livestock of the World database (v4). Please see the 1_Bf_2015_Metadata.html file for more information about this dataset and the set of included files. The processing was carried out at 0.0083333 (approx. 1 km at the equator) and aggregated at 0.083333 (approx. 10 km at the equator) for distribution to account for the very high heterogeneity in the average spatial resolution of the input data.

本数据集基于世界栅格畜牧数据库（Gridded Livestock of the World）第四版（v4），收录2015年全球水牛空间分布数据，以每像素（5弧分）对应的水牛总数量为统计表达形式。如需获取本数据集及所包含文件集的详细信息，请查阅1_Bf_2015_Metadata.html文件。鉴于输入数据的平均空间分辨率存在极高异质性，本数据集先以0.0083333（赤道处约1公里）的分辨率开展预处理，后聚合至0.083333（赤道处约10公里）的分辨率以用于分布展示。
