Dataset for characterizing extreme short-term heavy rainfall and organized convective systems in the coastal urban agglomeration of South China

This dataset contains observations and derived products used to analyze extreme short-duration heavy rainfall (ESHR) events and organized convective systems (OCSs) over the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) along the South China coast during the pre-summer rainy seasons (April–June) from 2015 to 2024. All data files are provided in NetCDF (.nc) format.本数据集包含观测资料及衍生产品，用于分析2015至2024年前汛期（4-6月）华南沿海粤港澳大湾区（Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, GBA）范围内的极端短时强降水（extreme short-duration heavy rainfall, ESHR）事件与组织化对流系统（organized convective systems, OCSs）。所有数据文件均采用NetCDF（.nc）格式存储。
