Localized plant species-specific BVOC emission rate library for China

Localized plant species-specific BVOC emission rate library was established based on our and reported local field measurements, a statistical approach of classifying more detailed emission categories and assigning the representative emission rates used in BVOC emission inventory was developed. The developed library included the isoprene, monoterpene, and sesquiterpene emission rates for 599 native plant species. Critically, different level of reliability was given to each emission rate according to the measurement technique. This library will be significant for improving the accuracy of local biogenic emission inventory and furtherly the modeling of air quality.本研究基于自主开展及已公开的本地野外实测数据，构建了物种特异性的本地化生物源挥发性有机化合物（BVOC）排放速率数据库；同时开发了一套统计方法，用于对排放类别开展更细致的分类，并为BVOC排放清单分配典型排放速率。所构建的数据库涵盖了599种本土植物的异戊二烯、单萜及倍半萜排放速率。尤为关键的是，本研究依据所用的实测技术手段，为每一组排放速率赋予了差异化的可靠性等级。该数据库对于提升本地生物源排放清单的精度，乃至空气质量模拟的准确性均具有重要意义。
