Growth in U.S. customers purchasing online after COVID-19 2020, by category

A September 2020 survey found that due to COVID-19, there was an estimated 50 percent increase in customers purchasing household supplies online. Over-the-counter medicine ranked second with a 40 percent growth of customers purchasing items from that particular category online.
