The experimental data (FIG4, 5, 7) were obtained through imaging experiments on a 137Cs source with an activity of 9.25 × 108Bq by using a self-constructed coded aperture imaging system. The system consists of a 10mm thick tungsten periodic rank 11 coded mask, GAGG: Ce array produced by Shanghai Epic Crystal, JARY-TP3050-8 × 8C produced by Jingbang Technology, and A5202 acquisition board from CAEN company. The simulated data (FIG6, 8, 9) were obtained by modeling the imaging system using Geant4. The numbers of particle deposition in GAGG or SiPM are collected and analyzed.Matlab scripts are used for processing and visualization. For energy spectrum data (FIG4), function histogram can be directly used for visualiztion. For experimental imaging data (FIG5, 7), the data format for each row is imaging time, total particle deposition count, and 20 * 20 image. For simulated data (FIG6, 8, 9), the data format for each row is total number of emitted particles, total number of deposited particles, number of energy maximum method correctly infers the first interaction position, and 20 * 20 image.
