Candidatus Phytoplasma sp. AldY-WA1 Genome sequencing and assembly

In 2019, a phytoplasma strain in the 16SrV group was identified from a symptomatic red alder tree (Alnus rubra) leaf sample collected from a public site in Washington State, USA.Here, we report the first draft genome sequence of this strain named AldY-WA1, which estimated to be 89% complete with a G + C content of 22.36%.This information will facilitate comparative genomics of phytoplasmas in the elm yellows group (16SrV).

2019年，在美国华盛顿州一公共场地采集的一株症状性红枫（Alnus rubra）树叶样本中，鉴定出属于16SrV组的植物疫原体菌株。本研究首次公布了该菌株AldY-WA1的基因组序列草稿，其完整性估计为89%，G+C含量为22.36%。此项信息将有助于对榆树萎黄病组（16SrV）中植物疫原体的比较基因组学研究。
