Beyond the Label: Reproducibility Materials for a Comparative Study of Label-Based and Method-Based Visibility in Indian Digital Humanities

This dataset contains the reproducibility materials underlying the study “Beyond the Label: A Comparative Study of Label-Based and Method-Based Visibility in Indian Digital Humanities.” The materials preserve the OpenAlex search strategy, candidate and screening records, validation and deduplication procedures, coding workbooks, statistical outputs, and final figures. The analytical corpus was frozen at 417 distinct scholarly works, comprising 353 label-based works and 64 method-discovered works. The study operationalises bibliographic visibility through complementary label-based and method-based retrieval strategies. OpenAlex is an external bibliographic infrastructure; this deposit preserves the search strategy and retrieved records used in the study and does not redistribute the OpenAlex database.
