Miletus (Turkey), built into the Goths' WallFrom the division of finds 1905; marble, 540 - 530 BC The torso of this stqtue of a girl was found built into a fortification wall of the 3rd century AD along with other older sculptures, inscriptions and architectural fragments. Originally, it probably belonged to the inventory of a sanctuary in Miletus along with some of these spolia. This object is part of Scan The World.
