Apple accounted for 55 percent of the total smartphone shipment volume in Japan during the fourth quarter of 2023. It was followed by Sharp, which accounted for 11.4 percent. In total, 8.28 million smartphones were shipped during that quarter, which was a decrease of 2.4 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
