The cartographic model 1:50 000 – grid (KM50-R) is the digital state map of the entire Austrian territory in a basic scale of 1:50 000. It is free of blades and georeferenced. The update takes place nationwide at periodic intervals but also on occasions in the event of significant infrastructural changes. The Austrian map 1:50 000 (ÖK50) – in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMLV) – as well as the Austrian map 1:25 000 (ÖK25V) is derived from the KM50-R. This 50 km x 50 km tile is one of a total of 63 tiles, which together cover the territory of Austria1:5万制图格网模型（KM50-R）是覆盖奥地利全域的基础比例尺1:5万国家级数字地图，无额外裁切且已完成地理配准。该数据采用全国范围内的周期性更新机制，并可针对重大基础设施变更开展适时更新。与联邦国防部（Federal Ministry of Defence, BMLV）合作产出的奥地利1:5万地图（ÖK50）以及奥地利1:2.5万地图（ÖK25V），均源自KM50-R模型。该50千米×50千米的瓦片为总计63幅覆盖奥地利全境的瓦片之一。
