Share of Italians interested in soccer in 2020

How many Italians are interested in soccer? According to a survey conducted in 2020, about six in ten Italians claimed to be interested in this sport. While 23 percent of respondents claimed to be occasional fans, 18 percent of the survey sample stated to watch matches or read football news weekly.
