R script for the construction and analysis of fatal occupational falls among brazilian workers, 2015–2023

This R script was developed to prepare and analyze data from the Mortality Information System (SIM), available through DATASUS, Ministry of Health, Brazil. It supports the construction of the analytical dataset and the descriptive and inferential analyses for an article aimed at characterizing deaths among workers aged 18 to 69 years due to falls during economic activity in Brazil, between 2015 and 2023. The analyses consider sociodemographic characteristics, medical assistance, occupational groups, and geographic distribution, as well as the estimation of odds ratios for mortality.本R脚本专为处理与分析巴西卫生部下属DATASUS平台提供的死亡信息系统（Mortality Information System, SIM）数据而开发。其可支撑分析数据集的构建，以及为一篇旨在刻画2015至2023年巴西境内18至69岁劳动者在经济活动中因坠落致死的死亡特征的研究文章，开展描述性与推断性统计分析。本次分析将涵盖社会人口学特征、医疗救助情况、职业类别与地理分布维度，同时完成死亡相关比值比（odds ratios）的估算。
