Transcriptome profile of breast cancer HS-578T cells overexpressing EP300

HS-578T cells overexpressing EP300 show an increase in doxorubicin and paclitaxel resistance, up-regulation of EMT markers together with an increase in motility and invasion, and an increase in the percentage of cancer stem cells and mammosphere formation. Cells were stably transfected with an expression vector (pcDNA 3) carrying EP300 cDNA. Control cells were generated with pcDNA 3 only. Pools of at least 200 clones were selected with G418. For the array experiment, RNA isolated from three independent cultures was used for each condition (control vs. EP300-expressing cells).
