Gene expression profile at single cell level of stromal cells(SCs) from the periosteum and bone marrow

Stromal cells in bone are considered as a heterogenous population that have different locations and functions, though all of them can self-renew and differentiate into osteoblasts. We used single cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq) to dissect the heterogeneity of Stromal cell in the bone. Stromal cell in bone marrow and bone periosteum were digested and isolated by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). Then cells were analyzed using scRNA-seq.
