Transcriptomic investigation of Thioclava electrotropha strain ElOx9 and Idiomarina strain FeN1

The goal of this study is to investigate extracellular electron transfer mechanisms in pure and co-cultures of marine sediment bacterial isolates (Thioclava electrotropha strain ElOx9 and Idiomarina strain FeN1). In this study, we utilized transcriptomics to investigate gene expression of these strains under differential conditions and whole-genome sequencing to validate construction of gene deletion mutants.
